Race a Pinewood Derby car, watch high-performance sports cars in racing demonstrations on the COTA track, get up close to a NASCAR race car in the "NASCAR at COTA" area, see cars built and raced by University of Texas and Texas State students (including gas- and solar-powered cars), go inside a fire truck, ambulance and law-enforcement vehicles, and watch a DPS helicopter land. COTALAND, karting, mini golf and zip line have their own fees and age/height limits. Hosted by Scouting America Capitol Area Council. Free sign-up: https://www.capitolareascouting.org/speedfest/
